Project |01 "Getting Schooled on Civics"
​
During Newspaper in Education Week (NIE) in March 2015, the Missouri Press Association collaborated with the University of Missouri journalism students to produce student editorials commemorating NIE. Of the students who participated, I was one of three whose piece was highlighted. It was such an incredible honor, and was an absolute a pleasure to write.

relationship status: It's Complicated"

I had the opportunity to write an editorial piece for Community News, a news organization located in St. Louis, Mo. Read up on how I think tuning into our phones has made us tune out of reality.
Project |03 "Beauty in the Bald"
​
This project was for a multimedia journalism course. The goal of my team and I was to learn more about Alopecia, an aggressive immune system condition that results in hair loss, and to tell the story through the eyes of those who live with this condition. We did so through extensive research and interviews with medical specialists who were generous enough to share their insight and personal journey with us. We were beyond appreciative of those we welcomed us with open arms into such an intimate part of their lives.
